Job Description:

Jolt Systems LLC designs, manufactures and installs wiring systems and electrical components for drag race, off-road and harsh-environment vehicles, and we’re looking for a motivated, reliable individual that is ready to start a career and grow with us.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Efficiently perform wire harness production tasks in accordance with scheduling.
  • Use hand tools such as crimpers, cutters and wire strippers to construct wiring harness components.
  • Work with heated tools such as heat guns and solder pots for tinning.
  • Follow standards for universal crimping and assembly procedures.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions in color and review engineering prints to achieve results.
  • Operate wire cutting machine and other automated equipment.
  • Stage assemblies for production by kitting components and wire cuts in bins.
  • Detect, isolate and document defective material according to quality requirements.
  • Identify when components become low on stock and notify for re-order.
  • Perform simple Helper duties with cars for in-house installations.
  • Use computer, printer, and other related office equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to access information from computer and provide computer data entry.
  • Sweep and clean as needed.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Supervision:

  • This position reports directly to the company owner / operator.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

  • High School or equivalent (preferred).
  • US work authorization (required).
  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-610 & 620 qualifications a plus, but not required. Competence in these qualifications may constitute an increase in starting wage.
  • Experience in a shop, manufacturing, warehouse or production environment.
  • Being a gearhead is a plus!

  • The employee frequently is required to sit and walk
  • Use hands and fingers to perform assembly operations with small parts.
  • Use simple hand tools such as cutters, crimpers, wire strippers and heat guns requiring basic grip strength and finger dexterity.
  • The employee must frequently lift up to 20 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour starting, with aggressive performance-based raises offered on a quarterly basis.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift Monday - Friday
  • 10 hour shift Monday - Thursday available
  • Potential overtime
  • Seven total annual paid holidays
