If you've been around fertilizer, you know it's hard on everything it touches due to its corrosive properties. A local trucking company was suffering from unexpected downtime due to electrical issues on their tender trailer, due to deterioration and corrosion on the engine wiring harness. Because the tender was manufactured for the notorious 2020 model year, an alternate variant of the C3.4B was used due to supply chain issues, causing further hurdles for sourcing parts.

After receiving an astronomical quote from the dealership for a replacement harness - with a lead time to match - their tech found us. We reverse engineered the original harness, and produced a replacement with a few key improvements -

• Backshells and booting were added to every lead applicable, for added protection against abrasion, harsh chemicals and UV damage.
• Lengthened lead for the breather heater, allowing for an alternate harness route less susceptible to damage.

What makes our replacement an improvement over the original:

• Built by hand, 100% in-house in our Iowa facility.
• Quality US-sourced automotive-grade wire, built to last.
• Genuine connectors, terminals and components used throughout, with updated and improved versions used where applicable.
• Improved branching / breakout structure installs just like the original, but with additional flexibility for specific leads where needed, and less exposed wire.
• non-split braided nylon looming instead of split plastic loom withstands abrasion, is easier to route and install, and doesn't trap dirt or fluids.
• Lower cost and shorter lead times than the dealership in most cases.
