A county municipality from Washington state was experiencing PTO issues with their New Holland 8160 mowing tractor, which were traced to a harness riddled with exposed conductors due to dry-rotted and cracked insulation. The replacement harness has been discontinued as a New Holland service part, but fortunately a recommendation from the AgTalk forums pointed them to us. They sent us the deteriorated original harness, 

What makes our replacement an improvement over the original:
